Smash Weddings has been a lifelong dream in the making and is finally here, set in Pensacola, Fl. Here we provide exceptional services for everyone and every budget. All the way from full service wedding planning to month of coordination and day of services. To set ourselves apart from most wedding planning companies we also offer pre-wedding party planning such as bridal showers and engagement dinners for the family. Once the business is self sufficient, birthday party planning, baby showers, graduation parties and charity galas will also be in the arsenal.
Even before opening, my website for Smash Weddings circulated the web and created positive buzz and anticipation from future brides. Working as an intern with a local wedding planner helped me learn the ins and outs and create relationships with vendors in the area. I also spent time as a receptionist for a florist who specialized in full decor and flowers for weddings, country club events and galas. I plan on working very closely with this company and teaming up with them to advance both businesses.
During the first year of opening in 2019, Smash Weddings will have a goal of 5 full service contracts and 5 additional services. During this time we will be focusing on advertisement and bridal show expos to get our name out there and build a reputation. Within 5 years of opening the goal is 15 full service contracts and 10-15 additional services. By year 10, I hope to have my additional party planning services in affect and a staff to run these side events on their own, to create additional revenue. Personally my goal is to book and create 25 full service weddings a year and 20 additional services.
